Fuse Box Replacement in Delph

There are many advantages to having a replacement fuse box in your property. Installing a modern consumer unit where an old fuse box used to be can potentially cause issues though. Newer consumer unit technology can detect existing electrical faults that an older fuse box would not have detected.

It is recommended to have an electrical inspection (INSERT HYPERLINK PLEASE)( https://www.jpelectrical.net/electrical-inspection-and-testing-huddersfield ) carried out before having a new consumer unit installed.

A new consumer unit can have great safety features and carries out numerous tasks such as:
•    Cable protection from overload
•    Short Circuit Protection

•    Electric Shock Detection
•    Protection from surges in the mains supply

When a new consume unit is installed, many electrical tests are carried out to ensure that the existing wiring and safety electrical connections are in place. The new trip switches are checked, tested and their results recorded on the Electrical Installation Certificate.
