Local Electrician in Mirfield

Mirfield, West Yorkshire is situated on the A644 between Brighouse and Dewsbury.

This town holds an annual agricultural event named the “Mirfield Show” on the 3rd Sunday in August at the local showground. It is a non-profit event laid on by the Mirfield Agricultural Society for the families of Mirfield.

St Mary’s Church dating back to the 13th century was rebuilt in 1826 but was unable to keep up with the growing population of Mirfield. A newly designed church was built to the northwest of St Mary’s in Mirfield on a mansion site. The designer suggested the tower from the earlier church detailing historic medieval work to be retained. If you are a Trekkie or a Trekker you may be interested to know St Mary’s was the church Sir Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard) attended as a boy.
